First meetinf of the Regional Group of Stakeholders

On November 28, 2018, the first meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group established as part of the Smart Edge project “Sustainable Metropolitan Areas and the Role of The Edge City” was held at the office of the Association of the Krakow Metropolis. During the meeting, the results of work carried out as part of the project and the course of the first project meeting in Akershus (Norway) were presented, as well as a plan of work for the next semesters, including information on the next project meeting planned for April in Bucharest

 

Workshops and study visit in Oslo

On 17-19 September 2018, the first project meeting organized by the Project Leader – Akershus County Council (Oslo, Norway) took place, in which three stakeholders from the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, the Municipal Economy Department of the City of Krakow and the City Hall participated. and Niepołomice Communes as well as three representatives of a partner from the Krakow Metropolis Association. During the workshop, each project partner shared his experience and presented good practices in the field of multi-level management and the role of coastal cities in low-carbon development of metropolitan areas. On 19 September 2018, a study visit to Fornebu (Bærum) took place, which aimed to illustrate the effects of intersectoral cooperation in these areas in such aspects as: economic activity, housing investments or green areas.

 

 

Information meeting

On June 28, 2018, the first meeting of the Regional Group of Stakeholders took place at the seat of the Krakow Metropolitan Association, during which the participants were presented with the most important information related to the accession of the Krakow Metropolitan Association to the project entitled Sustainable Areas and the Role of The Edge City (SmartEdge). Project goals, its planned effects and planned activities were discussed in detail (more information in the presentation).
